Adriatic Shipyard Bijela has been certified by the Maritime safety department – Bar, Montenegro
on the basis of the Rules for Approval of Manufacturers and Service Suppliers, approving the
examination, operation testing and repair of lifeboats, launching appliances and on-load release
gears in accordance with requirements of the SOLAS 1974 as amended, Regulation III/20 and IMO
Certificate No. 01230003 was issued on 17.12.2012

Adriatic Shipyard Bijela gained RINA Certificate of Approval of Service
During the second half of 2012, Adriatic Shipyard Bijela has accessed the activities in order to obtain the status of' "service supplier" for servicing of lifesaving appliances, taking into account requirements of SOLAS Convention (Chapter 20/III), IMO documents MSC.1/Circ.1206 Rev. 1 and MSC.1/Circ.1207 and RINA’s regulations.
The acquiring of this status is based on the fact that the Shipyard has years of experience in servicing of these appliances in accordance with SOLAS Convention and shiprepair activity in general.

The official opening of a new version of the Web Site
As of today the old version of web site www.asybijela.com stopped being operative and also it is launched
a new version. It is a bilingual website, technologies that are used are CSS/HTML, with Java and PHP scripts. Unlike
the old presentation, the new one is amended by new information for employees, suppliers as well as corporate information.
Totally on the Web site is set up 160 html pages, 2 slide-shows, 4 screen savers, 9 newsletters, 4 videos and 100 photos

The Assembly will be held on 25th July 2012 in Bijela, in the administrative building of the shipyard, starting at 11.00 A.M.

NEVA 2011 International exhibition and conference
Maritime Fair NEVA'11 was held in the showroom Lenexpo in St. Petersburg, from 20th to 23rd September. NEVA'11 evidenced a record high number of exhibitors and visitors. Over 800 exhibitors presented their products and services, while approximately 25.000 people had the opportunity to visit the fair. There were recorded a total of 40 participating countries, out of which 19 has even had their own national pavilions and industry groups. During the same were held conferences and business tables that had about 450 participants creating a functional platform to solve many technical, technological, commercial and operational issues relevant to the functioning of the global maritime industry.Read more ...
Changes in the organization of transport for employees
Since 1st March 2012 the transport of employees from home to work and back will be carried out by the company "Trend-travel" in two
vehicles and by bus of the Shipyard.
There are no changes in schedule and contribution for transportation costs from distant locations and for overtime shall be based on enclosed tickets of public transport.

Aid for the north region of Montenegro 10.000 eur!
Aid of companies from Herceg Novi to affected areas of central and northern parts of Montenegro is still coming. Management of Adriatic Shipyard Bijela has decided today to pay in 10 000 EUR. From the bakery, "Alexandria", whereby thay have increased the production of bread, they will send food aid while hotels Hunguest Hotels and "Light house" will open their doors to accommodate vulnerables. However, many have been helping even before the declaration of emergency state to compatriots and colleagues in the north. Employees of the Shipyard can submit up to 3rd February 2012 a written request for consensual termination of employment in the Shipyard under payment
of severance pay.
Application form can be obtained from the Archive of the Shipyard and the reception desk in the new administration building.
